I. Price trend

According to data monitoring, domestic viscose staple fiber prices generally remained weak, with 1.5D*38mm viscose staple fiber prices at 11,578 yuan/ton, which was flat compared to last week.

II. Market Analysis

Recently, the viscose market has been trading lightly, and the price of viscose staple fiber is difficult to maintain. Currently, mid-end products are currently negotiating at 11,350 yuan/ton. Due to the convening of the **, the pressure on environmental protection in the Xinjiang region has been escalated, and the load of local cotton mills is relatively low, and some of the short-fibre pulp prices have been quoted at 6200-6300 yuan. The viscose mills generally face greater cost pressures, and prices are difficult to transmit and losses increase. Some viscose mills indicate that the supply of pulp will be tight in the later period, and losses will continue to rise.

In the downstream, the overall price of cotton yarn remained stable in the near-term, and the market lacked favorable and flat transactions. The transactions in 10s and 30s were fair. The price of cotton yarn for 30s in Zhejiang remained at 15,800 yuan/ton.

III. Market Forecast

At present, the viscose staple fiber market is constrained by the upstream raw material plants, the cost pressure is large, and the price has been difficult to follow up. It is expected that the price of the viscose staple fiber market will be adjusted weakly.
