The Bernini Group, a name deeply rooted in the world of haute couture for over three decades, has found a new home at Deji Plaza—a hub for luxury brands in Nanjing since July 2010. Recently, the brand made another bold move by setting up shop in the tallest building in the city, Zifeng Tower. The 72nd-floor observation deck, offering panoramic views and more than 300 meters of elevation, served as the stunning backdrop for the unveiling of their 2010 autumn-winter collection.
Titled “Cloud Beauty,†the show was a mesmerizing blend of nature and fashion. Designed as a 360-degree experience, it seamlessly merged the real clouds drifting outside the windows with the ethereal cloud-like stages and sprays inside. The set design evoked the dreamlike essence of Penglai Pavilion, creating an otherworldly atmosphere that captivated the audience.
This season’s collection continued to highlight the elegance and sensuality of women, showcasing luxurious fabrics such as fur and velvet. Robyn Hung Hong Yingni, the second-generation creative director of the Bernini Group, brought her signature global ethnic style to life. Known for her bold use of color and intricate patterns, she once again pushed boundaries, blending elements of fantasy with the stark beauty of winter. The result was a collection that felt both timeless and modern, full of vivid contrasts and emotional depth.
