Western shoes have become a model for industrial clusters

Chengdu Economic Commissioner said that with the concentration of enterprises and the expansion of the scale, the production and sales of Wuhou shoes, especially women's shoes, have squeezed into the top three in the country. Two months ago, Wuhou District officially won the “Capital of Chinese Women’s Shoes”. title. This is the first shoe “GuoZihao” title won by Sichuan Province, which marks a new step in the development of Chengdu’s footwear industry. It is understood that Wuhou District plans to build an area of ​​6 square kilometers three years ago and formally proposed to create "China West Shoes Industrial Park."

To achieve a strong industrial province, we must engage in industrial clusters. At present, Chengdu footwear industry has evolved from decentralization to integration and has quickly formed a centralized development zone. As of mid-March, the entire Shoe Industrial Park brought together 80% of the province's shoe-making enterprises and produced more than 100 million pairs of leather shoes per year.

“At present, our shoe factories are constantly increasing. We hope that more sewing equipment companies will come to Sichuan to promote their products. 21 Concentration Zones Promote Chengdu Industrial

Chengdu Municipal Economic Commission Director Dai Xiaoming introduced that at present, Chengdu has a number of industries that have formed a “clustering” effect—an integrated circuit industrial cluster led by Intel and SMIC, and a software industrial cluster centered on Neusoft, Siemens, and ZTE. The building materials industry cluster with Lafarge and Taiwan Glass as the key enterprises, the automotive industry cluster represented by Chengdu FAW and Sichuan Toyota, and biopharmaceutical clusters, furniture clusters, and so on.

Dai Xiaoming said that we must build Chengdu into a new type of industrialization base based on high technology and modern manufacturing.
